Slip Knot

Create a loop, with the short end of the cord underneath the length attached to the cord skein.

Pull the middle of the short tail end up through the loop, keeping hold of the end of the short tail. Tighten to form a knot at the base of the loop. Place the loop on the hook.


Chain Stitch

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw the cord through the loop on the hook. Repeat as many times as instructed.


Starting Circle

Insert hook into first chain.

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw the cord through the chain to leave 2 loops on the hook.

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw cord through both loops on hook to leave 1 loop on hook.

Repeat these steps 5 more times (6 stitches in total).


Double Crochet (DC)

Insert hook underneath the top of the stitch.

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw the cord back underneath stitch to leave 2 loops on the hook.

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw the cord through the 2 loops to leave 1 remaining on the hook.


Increase (INC)

Complete 1 Double Crochet Stitch.

Insert the hook back underneath the same stitch.

Complete a second Double Crochet in this stitch.


Slip Stitch (SL ST)

Insert hook underneath the top of the stitch.

Wrap the cord once anticlockwise around the hook. Draw the cord through the stitch and through the loop on the hoop in the one motion
